Trade Issue - Gokoul SARL France

We would like to Warn everyone and tel about our negative experience with Company Gokoul SARL, France. We strongly feel that being proactive and sharing information within industry will help us to identify companies that are dishonest, irresponsible, short term oriented. Companies that are cheating, lying and are not willing to resolve any problems whatsoever and will think only about protecting their interest.

We bought Grade A Used phones from Gokoul and turned out the phones were falling apart and poorly glued, both the back cover and the screen.

Neil promised 5 days to check the goods, and although we reported him next day the incident and after 5 days full inspection report of each phone, he refuses to take back the stocks.
Once phones were checked again and ready to be shipped, Neil suddenly changed his mind and claimed our customer did all this.
Below a short description of the events.

1. We picked up goods on the 19th of July (from third party, which means Neil or his company didn’t inspect goods him self)
2. Received it here on the 20st of July
3. Since warehouse was too busy to repack, customer asked to ship him 3pcs so he can make photos for advertising.
4. On the 21st balance of the order was shipped.
5. First feedback was given on the 21st of July!
6. On the 24th Testing was over and full feedback given to supplier. If my math is not mistaken that is in no way more than 5 days, so i did everything in time.
7. We even offered to sell it back to Neil 40€ cheaper than he sold us, big surprise, he declined.
8. Gokoul agreed to take back the stock that LCD is not keeping in, but was sceptical about backcovers. (Now here was misscomunication, i said to Neil that backcovers are fake, but what my client meant was that they are assembled fake, glue being present etc)
9. At the time of getting phones back in house, I went and checked each phone, to see if RMA is true, and de-select phones that dont seem faulty, which i did.
10. And once I was done, Neil suddenly decided that stock is not his and has been altered. Checking the dates and documents anyone can understand that phones came faulty, and none would have time to alter them.

After all this and Nail backing out of any kind of responsibility higher Managment of Ourea was involved. We even didn’t ask Nail to refund money. We asked for support to resolve this situation, to check the phones, recognize that they are faulty and why this situation arises. Exchange or fix and send us “proper goods”. Which Nail refused to do, going in circles that its not possible and he’s perfect saint.
At the end, we just understood that its waste of our time talking to Nail. It’s not about money, we are not going to change how we do our business and it’s relative very small amount what we are talking here. It’s about principles. We, here in Ourea, always believe in two way cooperation. We support our partners, believe in them, trust them, protect them. I strongly believe you wont find a person who will say different about Ourea.

We had only one deal with Nail, it went totally wrong, we can only hope that it was accident and its not what any other industry partner experienced. But from what we know, how he acted, I would strongly recommend any partner we know, to stay away from any kinds of business with him.

Good luck everyone, let’s keep our industry clean, safe and happy!
