AMPQ/AMPQ PRO selling stolen goods

AMPQ/AMPQ PRO selling stolen goods

On  28.08.2018 "AMPQ sp. z o.o. sp. k." from Poland has offered us a big batch of iPhone 7 32GB EU specs. We have decided to purchase 120 pcs from this company,

At the day of purchase they said they have a new company "AMPQ PRO sp. z o.o. sp. k." only for export and asked us to change the documents and PO for this company. This was strange but since we had trust in AMPQ we agreed to change supplier for AMPQ PRO.

Goods have been paid and delivered to us with insignificant delay. We accepted the goods .

26.10.2018 our local Police investigator visited MOONCOM and informed us that goods we have bought from AMPQ PRO have been stolen before. Those phones are part of bigger stolen batch of total 7900 pcs iPhones wich happened on 14.08.2018. (so AMPQ offered us stock only 2 weeks after they have been stolen).

By the time we had a visit from Police inspector, we have already sold all phones bought from AMPQ PRO.

During few weeks after police inspector visit our customer informed us that police arrested part of the goods that still was ready in their warehouse and rest of the phones are being confiscated from end clients and customer has to substitute those stolen phones.

Since we had to give a Creditnote to our client, we have also asked on 21st of November AMPQ PRO to refund us those stolen iPhones. We sent all documents we had and also email proof from police with all 7900 pcs serial numbers (where 120 pcs could be found inside).

Since end of November AMPQ PRO is not willing to resolve this case and return us money for stolen phones we bought. Their position is that it is not their problem.

On 25th of January we have filed a criminal report on company AMPQ PRO to Latvian police.

Be careful dealing with AMPQ or AMPQ PRO!
