Warning - Cloned Companies

We have seen proof of another cloning attempt.

We advise you to make sure you know who you are dealing with as these people will use REAL companies but change documents and give different contact details.

Take references - and check those references.

Please be very careful. If you have not heard of the company before be even more suspicious.

You must do logical due diligence to check the person who claims to represent the company does actually work for them. Find the REAL website and call the company from that number.
 
They will provide real company documents and VAT numbers which will validate, but make them provide the copies of the company documents and find the telephone number of the company from another source (website / google) and call that number and ask for the relevant person so you are sure.

If the company has free email addresses (@live, @sn, @yahoo, @hotmail) or odd looking websites - be even more aware and do checks.

Some also use copy websites which are a similar domain name but not the real one, these websites are normally very basic. Even email addresses may look like the real ones but are not - if you find the real website and the email is different this could be a sign of an issue.

Be very careful - do not lose money like others have recently.

This can also happen with your regular clients as well - make sure you speak to the person on the phone and be very suspicious if they change MSN, or mobile number and especially BANK DETAILS.
